Just minutes from the bright lights of the Las Vegas Strip, over 51,000 people are experiencing homelessness. Southern Nevada has one of the highest homeless populations in the country—and far too many go hungry each day.

In 2013, Linzy Donofrio, affectionately known as the Snack Bag Lady, decided that she was going to act. She began walking the streets with simple snack bags, offering not just food, but dignity, compassion, and hope. Since then, Homeless Homies has grown into a movement—feeding the hungry and showing them, they’re seen, loved, and not forgotten.

Our Impact

Every week, Homeless Homies hand-delivers 100 to 300 hot meals directly to those living on the streets in downtown Las Vegas. Before each meal, we gather together to say the Lord’s Prayer, bringing a moment of peace, prayer, and presence to our neighbors in need.
